We were commissioned to deliver a major IT infrastructure refresh programme for East Coast Main Line (ECML), who operate fast, frequent passenger train services between London King’s Cross, the East Midlands, Yorkshire, the North East of England and Scotland.
Our involvement on this project was to support our supplier client, throughout the lifecycle of the project, including design, specification and the eventual migration of ECML’s voice, data and mobile infrastructure at their head office, 22 mainline stations and 8 data centres.
The new infrastructure allowed ECML to consolidate their major IT services, and would deliver significant cost savings of the period of the contract.
